The Download link takes you to Microsoft's site, where you're able to choose your OS (Windows, Mac or Linux), the VM you need (select "Microsoft Edge on Win10") and the VM platform (VirtualBox, VMWare or HyperV_2012). Microsoft also provides 90-day copies of Windows 10 Enterprise on preconfigured virtual machines, which you can download and use almost immediately, with no configuration required at all.
You'll need to create a new VM in something like VirtualBox, download a Windows 10 ISO, attach it and then run through the standard installation process.īut there is another option. The safest way to try out Windows 10 is via a virtual machine, but this does require a little work.
